Ms. Hulbert was a middle school teacher in the Corcoran Unified School District for 29 years, where she was known for her innovative teaching style and dedication to helping disadvantaged youth. She created and implemented a Bridge Program with Corcoran Police Department, which led at-risk students to a path of preparation and success for high school.
During her tenure as a teacher, she held numerous positions including ASB advisor, leadership advisor, pentathlon advisor, softball coach, mentor teacher and union president. As a seventh-grade core teacher, she gained experience in planning, organizing, implementation and analysis. She always had high expectations for her students while demonstrating a caring attitude toward everyone in her classroom. Ms. Hulbert earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Fresno State University and her teaching credentials from Chapman University. |
